This is the cemetey at Kalaupapa on Molokai, where those with Hansen's Disease (leprosy) were exiled from 1866 to 1969. Over 8,000 exiles died there and were often buried in graves that are either unmarked or have long-disappeared. Here are some of the few gravesites that remain.
